The first Marcos. Frank Costin brought the aircraft engineering of the de Havilland Mosquito to a road car, building the chassis as a stressed monocoque from laminated marine plywood.
Radical and quick, it set the template every later Marcos followed: light weight, aerodynamic honesty, and a structure designed rather than styled.
