The 1964 Marcos GT (1800 GT), designed by Dennis and Peter Adams
1964

Marcos GT (1800 GT)

Drawn by Dennis and Peter Adams, the GT gave Marcos the low, long-bonneted profile it is still known for. Early cars used a laminated plywood chassis, later replaced by steel.

Powered first by a Volvo B18 straight-four, then a range of Ford engines. The shape defined the marque for four decades.
